Encounter Weekends 2010 dates19-21 November. £100 per person residential - all inclusive At Shaftesbury Christian Centre among the values that we hold close to our hearts there are two things that stand out: One is the need to be regularly filled with the Holy Spirit and the other is the need for our hearts to be healed from life’s hurts. We find that there are many things in life, both before and since we have given our lives to Jesus, which will hold us back and limit us in our walk with Him. Over time, we have developed our Encounter Weekends to effectively minister healing and freedom to hearts and lives. Among the subjects we cover are: forgiveness, bitter roots, inner vows, ungodly beliefs, the occult and sexual sins. Time after time we hear amazing testimonies of people’s lives being transformed as they unhook from things that have hindered their Christian walk. We recommend that our members go on an Encounter Weekend; many find that God still flags up things the second and third times through.
