Encounter Weekends At Shaftesbury Christian Centre among the values that we hold close to our hearts there are two things that stand out: One is the need to be regularly filled with the Holy Spirit and the other is the need for our hearts to be healed from life’s hurts.
We find that there are many thins in life, both before and since we have given our lives to Jesus, which will hold us back and limit us in our walk with Him. Over time, we have developed our Encounter Weekends to effectively minister healing and freedom to hearts and lives.
Among the subjects we cover are: forgiveness, bitter roots, inner vows, ungodly beliefs, the occult and sexual sins. Time after time we hear amazing testimonies of people’s lives being transformed as they unhook from things that have hindered their Christian walk.
We recommend that our members go on an Encounter Weekend; many find that God still flags up things the second and third times through.
We are convinced that this weekend will make a difference to your life!
Typical ProgrammeFriday evening – arrive 6.30pm in time for dinner at 7pm – then after dinner the introductory meeting. Saturday – buffet breakfast at 8.30am, two sessions in the morning with break for coffee, lunch at 1 pm followed by free time until 3pm, followed by another session before dinner at 6.30pm. 7.30 pm another session. Sunday – buffet breakfast at 8.30am. followed by two teaching sessions with a coffee break, ending with lunch at 1 pm.
